Current

I am currently employed as a Senior Research Scientist at ImFusion, applying deep learning to many medical challenges.

Academic

• I received my Ph.D. in Artifial Intelligence at the Swiss AI lab IDSIA in 2016, under supervision of Juergen Schmidhuber, from the Università della Svizzera italiana.
• I was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Technische Universität München from 2016 - 2018, Combining Virtual Reality and Deep Learning for a Swiss National Science Foundation (SNF) funded project (P2TIP1-165175).

Education

• I received my Bachelor's degree in Artificial Intelligence in 2008 at the University of Groningen.
• I received my Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence in 2011 at the University of Groningen.
